1911-2011 Centennial of Naval Aviation

Robert and I sat in traffic for 2-hours trying to get on base at the NAS North Island in Coronado for the Cenntennial of Naval Aviation celebration on Saturday the 12th. As irritated as we were, it was well worth the hassle. Lots of static displays along with a flyover consisting of 200+ planes, including the Blue Angels and aircraft from WWII. According to the program, it was the largest formation of military aircraft since WWII. The planes flew over the Coronado Bay Bridge, along the harbor, and over North Island. It was an amazing sight.
